About the Book
The Great Book of Art Makers 2026 brings together a carefully selected group of artists through their work, stories, and individual approaches to making art. Created as a substantial art publication, the edition gives readers an opportunity to spend time with the artists beyond a single image, through conversations that reveal the experiences, ideas, and perspectives connected to their work.
The edition opens with Cover Artist Remus Grecu, whose feature, He Paints Like a Director Who Works Alone, offers a closer look at the artist behind the cover. The book also features Guest Curator Sonia Borrell in The Woman Who Made Art a Home for All, followed by conversations with Julia Collins, Carolina Pavia, and Anne Siems.
A dedicated award section highlights Feyzan Alasya, Yoh Ko, and Dominika Łuszcz, recognised respectively as Award Winner, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up. Their conversations bring another layer to the edition, focusing on the individual stories and approaches behind their work.
