About; Haejin Yoo is a self-taught acrylic artist born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Australia. She creates surrealist expressionist art that explores past and present emotions. Haejin’s accolades include 2nd prize in the 2024 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize: RAYMAR Traditional Art Award, being named a Saatchi Art Rising Star for 2024, included in the HUG100 Artists to Watch 2024, a finalist for the Boynes Artist Award 10th Edition, winner of the Merit Prize in Teravarna’s International Juried Art Competition (2023), the Artist Expert Award (2022) presented by prominent critic Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi, and the First Prize Abstract Award at FIRA International Art Fair Barcelona 2022. Her piece 'Woman in the Bath III' was chosen as the main artwork to promote The Other Art Fair London 2024, featured on exhibition material and a 3m+ banner in central London. Haejin has been highlighted by Artfinder and Saatchi Art several times and exhibited at The Other Art Fair in London and Los Angeles in 2023.
