About the cover Artist: Bjørn Rune Lie is a Norwegian illustrator based in Fife, Scotland, where he lives with his wife, two sons, and their cat. Since graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 2001, he has developed a distinctive visual style characterized by bold, playful designs rich in detail and texture, often inspired by outsider art, noir films, and his Norwegian heritage.Bjørn has written and illustrated three children’s books, including the widely acclaimed Slapsefjell (2008), which reflects his deep connection to Norwegian nature and has been translated into several languages. Alongside personal projects, he works with global clients such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Deus Ex Machina, Hiut Denim, and Nobrow Press, blending warmth, beauty, and a touch of strangeness in his creations.
